The self-supporting insulating block; it comprises a plate (1) of acoustic absorbent, preferably of extruded polyethylene foam, having an external face (12) and an internal face (11); and on said internal face (11) of the plate (1) an overinjected layer (2) of a thermally insulating material, selected from: flame retardant polyurethane foam (epi) or polyisocyanurate foam (pir). In one embodiment, the block comprises at least one installation accessory (31, 32) embedded in the overinjected layer (2) of thermally insulating material.
